Can anyone help with setting up Microsoft teams account. We accepted the invitation, but it doesn’t go any further. Thanks!

I think our problem stems from the fact that we used my son’s school email account. The most recent email said to use Teams app for Personal home use, not the work or business version. Trying to solve it from this angle now.

Yea, don't get me started on this... my DD is at Girl's State so I'm trying to help her out while she's gone. I'm not hip to apps and authenticators etc. but I followed the instructions and still have no clue as to what I've done. I have two new apps on my phone and no clue how or what they are for.

Same issue. DS has an existing microsoft account with the same email USAFA has requested he use with Teams. So, DS's log in is automated and bypasses some of the middle steps outlined in the email. No idea if this explains the issue, but it's my best guess.

It's definitely not the most intuitive process I've seen. My DS:
1. Clicked on the accept link
2. Signed in to the USAFA site using his regular email even though the help text in the box told you to enter an AF email.
3. Browsed to both https://teams.microsoft.com/go and https://teams.live.com/ signed in again.
4. Downloaded the Teams app and logged in and what we see is
a. Team app for personal use
b. No specific AF communities or groups
c. And only his contacts
What I expected was that once he was logged in there would be something specific to the AF. A community, group, or some other way to know that we followed the process correctly. From the web side, I can tell that he is logged into the AF Micro$oft account but I don't see anything specific from Teams. It would nice if they told us something like "When you login and have done all the steps you should see this" and give us a screenshot of what we should see. I think we will just wait and see at this point.
