I’m impressed with some of y’all’s ALO interactions. My DS has not had a very responsive ALO. And he’s found him pessimistic when he does get responses. We’re currently waiting to hear back from his now.
This is reassuring news. My daughter has yet to hear anything at all. I hope it's the same then for her! We are from Maryland, Cardin's nomination. Her ALO is amazing, and has been trying to make her at ease with this whole process, its not for the week minded.
Are you guys on the waitlist or have had no correspondence? I had the Cardin nomination as well from Maryland and I received a rejection not too long ago. I wish you the best of luck!
I wish him the best of luck, tell him not to ever give up! Encourage him to chase his dreams! Like many of others have said that I've read, re-apply if his heart is set on USAFA. In the mean time, he could attend an ROTC program for Air Force, or if his goal is to serve, apply to any of the other venues to reach that goal !!! Should my daughter get the same news as him, this is exactly what she plans on doing !!!

They’ll notify. At this stage, and based on last year’s pending people, I think its safe to assume we won’t hear anything until May 1 or after. Keep living life! I have gotten so much done this week thanks to the need for distraction.
I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to serve. But I’d be lying if I did not say I am torn up by decision.I understand the decision making is tricky, but having a direct appointment to “only one” SA and the option of a 4 year afrotc scholarship are options many would love to have at this stage. Being offered full tuition in two branches of service - those are incredible options.
