For those parents, friends and relatives who never tire of looking for their basic cadet, here is the link for the 24 hour web cams mounted on the Air Force Academy property. You may have to install the recommended software to view them. Once you are on the site, click on the drop down menu under the word 'source'. It will give you the choice of which camera to view from.

way cool! How did you find that? I can't wait to get it up and going - my productivity at work is going to drop even more than it does as a result of WebGuy now!!!

It looks as though the IP address of the camera has changed It now reads:

http://75.71.232.161/view/index.shtml

Since the web address of the camera changes, here is the link to the Colorado webcams page, and then you can just select the USAFA cam from the list under Colorado Springs.

The Academy used to have a Terazzo-cam that was right on the Terazzo, but it doesn't seem that the link from the Falconpride website is still active.

I know an Administrative Assistant out at the academy and she said the terrazzo cam was taken down, quote, "Due to security concerns" end quote. Not quite sure what they were afraid of but that's not for me to judge.

Daylight savings time is throwing me off... it's 2 pm and the sun is nearing the mountains... how depressing.
