"USCGA Application Scheduled For Review"

My DD received an email today that her application will be forwarded to the Cadet Candidate Review board in the next two weeks. Can anybody tell me if this is a mass email send to all applications or if it was sent to her individually? Just wondering if she is getting close to an answer or will still need to wait it out for a while. It's been a long process and she is getting very excited!

I️ got the same email about two weeks ago. From what I’ve heard, we won’t find out at the end of the two weeks.

Right, I'm just trying to figure out if her application is actually moving up at this point, or if it just a mass email that everybody received today.

It is not an email that everyone in the pool gets at the same time, but my understanding from how a coach explained it to my son last year is that applications are reviewed in batches. So it’s not an individual email either. Everyone in your daughter’s group of applications will have received the same email.

DD is waiting patiently for her email!
 
It's given when it's reviewed by the Admission officer to see if everything is correct and it'll send to the board for them to make their decision. Good Luck!!!!!
 
Have any of you heard a response back yet? Curious as my ds received the same email around the same time.
 
Last year my DD heard the third week of March, she got a call from her AO on the way to school. She wasn't nearly the last on the list either. You just have to find something to do other than just waiting. You'll go mad if you stay here, so go run, lift, volunteer, create a character on Poptropica, anything other than parking here and mashing the refresh button.

I think your advice applies to a few parents too😳🤪
It is nail biting season as non-SA decisions start to appear.
