Quite a few CGAS got appointments from RADM Kelly from mmi today. But 2 more self preps received appointments as well! Still waiting on my end though.

Mr. Figgs - since you're a B-Chaplain, I'm assuming you are well acquainted with God's promise to be with you in and through everything. His ways are mysterious to us (Isaiah 55:8-9), but His plan for how He'll grow you into His character is in motion. He has promised to complete what He has started in you (Phil 1:6). Keep praying, keep up the practice of taking every thought captive to focus on what we ought (Phil chapter 4 is great to meditate on when we're waiting), and keep your chin up - it's far from over! Know and believe that you have a beautiful future waiting for you wherever you end up b/c you are the sort of young man who knows how to grow wherever he may find himself planted.

Thank you so much- every single person on this forum. My experience over the past two years is something that has shaped me in ways that I never thought possible. I’ve learned so much about myself and the academy and even if I end up receiving a denial again, I will not give up. If it takes me 3 years to go to the college of my dreams, then so be it. I will NEVER quit, I know God has a plan for me and I embrace wherever he leads me. It was truly an honor and pleasure to meet RADM Kelly and his staff today and now more than ever I know that my future is with the Coast Guard. SEMPER PARATUS!!

Some people get a call from their AO a few days ago before the decision letter show up on their portal. You can check last year’s appointment thread, people also included how they were notified. Some were phone calls and some were portal
