On the lower right side are boxes that are checked as you scroll down... I think decisions then are posted in the application portion of the portal according to what they have typed out.

Will the "Cadet Candidate Evaluation Board Complete" checkbox in the Portal be checked off after my admissions decision is made?

I do not have checkboxes. Just says status submitted and recommendation providers. That’s all that shows up on my screen.

At the top of the page you are describing, hit menu then messages

I've asked this question before and was told not to really pay attention to that.. It could get check marked much later after decisions have been rendered.

That must mean you log in to the “application” page. That confused me for a little bit. You can log into Bears Den and hit “application” at the top to go to the page I think you are referring to

Remember that 60 or so appointments are CGAS. So a class of around 300, leaves 240 to be assigned from EA and RA. Also those applying EA are usually your strongest candidates so you would expect more appointments coming that pool anyway. Again I may be wrong but I am pretty sure that I have read about 2/3 come from EA and 1/3 from RA.

We would love to have gone EA but DS wasn't allowed due to no SAT/ACT score. Our state has been shut down completely and only just started in person school this week, 2 days a week. We tried getting SAT last March, but continually cancelled. CGA wouldn't allow him to apply EA without a score. Fingers crossed.

That's really interesting...If this stat hold true and there are only 285 spots for 2025 and there are approx 60 CGAS right now waiting for (or already received) their appointments, that only leaves about 30ish spots for the national RA pool, some of which have already been appointed.

So looking at last years appointment thread 70 people posted appointments. About 45 were from EA and 25 from RA. Take from that what you will.

First time poster here: like some others on this thread, I applied in EA and got deferred to RA. I'm still waiting to receive a decision.

The waiting is terrible, but this forum has been really helpful. Good luck to all!

Ah yes, good point! Forgot about the Scholars! Still, without factoring in yield, it’s hard to extrapolate anything meaningful from the info we have.
