USMA Nom not showing

DS received an email from Congressman’s office saying he rec’d noms to all 4 academies (USAFA,USMA, USNA and USMMA), so we are beyond excited. DS is not applying to USMMA so he responded to the email by thanking them and updating them that he is not applying to USMMA. On his portals, his noms are showing for USNA & USAFA but not USMA. I realize it’s the holidays so I’m not sure if that could be the reason? I’m nervous that maybe there may have been an error and they have NOT sent it to USMA and DID send it to USMMA instead. Should he wait until next week, after the holidays or should DS email Moc office asking if it has been sent to USMA? Appreciate any suggestions.

Last year DD received noms from our congressman for USNA, USAFA and USMA...the USMA showed on portal well after the other two so I don't think you need to worry yet.

Ok- thank you Teragram. DS told me to relax bc USMA is always slower uploading their stuff, based on his experience so far.

Remember just because the candidate has been notified doesn’t mean that the slate has been officially submitted and/or processed by USMA. Also it’s the Holidays and things are going slower. I am sure it will show up.

I wouldn't worry. As Navy Hoops pointed out, there is know way of knowing when a Senator/Congressman officially submits the slate nor when an Academy will process it. My grandson received a call from our Senior Senator with nominations to both USAFA and USNA and neither appeared on his portal for a couple of weeks. Similarly, he received a letter the day after Christmas from his congressman with nominations to USAFA and USNA. Those nomination appears on neither portal nor do I think it likely they will until well after New Years.

It works the other way around too . . . our DD has a Senate Nomination showing on her portal for USNA, but so far no letter or phone call from the Senator.
