Son attended a brief last night for USMA 1.45 hours from our home. It was very helpful for him and he received the feedback he needed. His RC was there and meeting him in person was invaluable. Son cannot do his overnight until January due to scheduling issues. Wanted to share just in case as a way to meet your RC in person.

DS yuk will find out this week if he will be detailed for local outreach events Thanksgiving week - when he was in HS he attended one where local cadets home on leave hosted candidates at an informal meet and greet in local mall food court.
These are coordinated with SAs and field force but the cadets pretty much fly solo with the newbies.
If you are in the process you should find out automatically if one like this will be in your area [we are in MI FYI.]
Bonus for the cadets as he will get to come home for the entire week of Thanksgiving.
