What does the application process look like from the prep school to West Point? Is it as rigorous as the original application, or does it give you a substantial leg up in the process?
Finishing prep school in good standing is called the golden ticket to a SA. So in many ways it’s not close to being as rigorous or stressful.
You will have already done an application and saved it so much of the work has already been done.
If you don’t get a nomination they will find one for you.
Its the exact same process but so much easier and less stressful.
Congrats if prep school is in your future.
Mine were all naps not usmaps. Is your initial application held or saved for a year? Basically, what are the academic classes you take there? How are you notified that you have been selected for USMAPS?
Thanks! Appreciate it.Mine were all naps not usmaps.
They had to redo their application toward the end of academic year. It was very relaxed and kind of just something you had to do.
Both of mine were recruited so the call came from the coaches notifying of prep school.
At naps
english, math, chem, physics
classes based on your academic background. Higher math vs my kids math
USMAPS should have all of this on line as far as the courses.
Good Luck
