USMC Rifleman's Creed

Always loved Gary Owen. Not so much on a harmonica though. Also loved the 1903.

Dang you. I had to stand up at the end!

A little morning motivation for my Marine brothers and sisters.

Get some!

For a second, I thought he was going to kiss the damn thing and propose marriage.

That Garryowen stuff was good. Custer could have used a few good Marines with him on that fateful June day in the Black Hills.

Good stuff...but I can't help but think how some of the gun forum's I watch would go crazy with the finger in the trigger and sweeping the camera !
Different times....you could even call a magazine a "clip" without heads exploding !

(By the way, is that a billy club on the Sgt's hip during the initial marching scene ? That's old school !)

Great points @Old Navy BGO.

For what it is worth, I am not that old but I sure don't recall anything being said about finger outside the trigger guards when I was serving. Muzzle control - yes. The only trigger "control" I remember discussing had to do with squeezing off a round rather than jerking the pull.

Yeah. It was more like "listen to / wait for the commands" and "don't fire until you hear the command to fire".

"This is for fighting and" please continue.:lolatyou: Only thing I was taught other than basic safety was Pull Two.
