Gotcha. He has 3 DQs (none are vision related). I can't imagine any them prohibiting him from working with a USCG license or Navy, especially since Navy granted a waiver. I just feel like USMMA is behind and we were on the bottom of the stack that got pushed to another day LOLI am not saying that. I am saying that the USCG licensing requirements dictate USMMA's standards. So it is a requirement to pass and obtain a USCG license to graduate from KP. I believe USN is actually the overarching waiver authority for USMMA as all mids at USMMA are technically navy reservists. Regardless of the authority, there are different standards depending on where you are going. USMMA had to adhere to the standards to get that CG License because of that requirement to graduate.
