USMMA medical review

I am not saying that. I am saying that the USCG licensing requirements dictate USMMA's standards. So it is a requirement to pass and obtain a USCG license to graduate from KP. I believe USN is actually the overarching waiver authority for USMMA as all mids at USMMA are technically navy reservists. Regardless of the authority, there are different standards depending on where you are going. USMMA had to adhere to the standards to get that CG License because of that requirement to graduate.
Gotcha. He has 3 DQs (none are vision related). I can't imagine any them prohibiting him from working with a USCG license or Navy, especially since Navy granted a waiver. I just feel like USMMA is behind and we were on the bottom of the stack that got pushed to another day LOL

DS had his waiver granted today. Hopefully you will be next.

Congrats! Appreciate it. DS is getting antsy. He has a plan B, C, and D but those are all SAs so plans E, F, G , & H are semi solid..

So the waivers truly are a case by case basis. In our DS case, USMMA has granted his waiver, as of today USAFA has granted his waiver, Navy Scholarship, Army Scholarship and USNA are all still Under Review. So I don't see that Navy is an across the board for scholarships and USNA and USMMA. Each individual source will make their own determinations.

Get used to this feeling when dealing with anything USMMA related. The school has it's merits - namely that you get more OUT of it than any other service academy - but it's leadership, management and academic staff are not nearly in the same league.

Yes, facilities and personnel. I feel like they are understaffed and underfunded. We have a great feel from the coach but I have told DS to seriously consider ALL aspects of the college.
