I received an email from my BGO last week stating that my application has been deemed "qualified." However, nothing has been updated on the application portal.
If Board meets every Thursday, and DS's December ACT scores are updated before Thursday in the portal, is it possible that his application get a look this week if there was a significant improvement?
Thanks justdoit19. He's been complete since AUG and CPR. I'm not sure if he was reviewed yet or qualified. His December ACT came up to 34M and 35E. Scores were sent priority. So maybe it will be reviewed with the new scores, or they will just be added to the shelved file. If he wasn't qualified to begin with, will they review it again with the new scores? If Board meets every Thursday, and DS's December ACT scores are updated before Thursday in the portal, is it possible that his application get a look this week if there was a significant improvement?
As I understand only from from reading forums, your DS’s application is reviewed at as soon as it’s complete and they are able. If deemed qualified, it is ‘shelved’, along with its WCS in that qualified state until it can, or will, be charged with a nomination. And while it is ‘shelved’ and waiting, significant changes to the application (ie increased test score) can be added, perhaps increasing WCS. My understanding is that it isn’t reviewed over and over. It’s kind of in a pile of completed, scored applications. Along with all the others that are scored and completed and reviewed.
Is your sons complete? If so and he tests again, with an improved score, I would make sure and email admissions to have that added to his file. It’s my understanding that anything one wants to add post completion needs an email to admissions to do so. And I would suggest doing that anyhow to ensure it’s added at this point in the game, leave nothing to chance!!
