USNA Class of 2016 Profile

Does it really matter about the correctness of the stats?
The Class Profile is provided to show a candidate a "general" idea of what the class makeup is...it isn't mean to conduct a deep dive.
I can't tell you how many times Admissions tells candidates and parents not to worry too much about the stats.

ahh, the voice of reasoned perspective :)

I would have let it go, but aikibido insisted I was wrong.

Not only did you not let it go you actually went and looked up old posts of mine and resurrected a post that was three months old on another forum just to say a was wrong! Thats a little scary.:shake:

In the interest of partial disclosure I'm a parent of a current MIDN who has been thru the admissions and nomination process (including receiving an LOA). Living close to Annapolis I visit the campus on a pretty regular basis and know current and former mids, several BGOs and some others at USNA. For the record I'm no expert on USNA admissions - there are a number of very knowledgeable individuals, mods, BGOs, etc, here that would fit that description - but I'm not just throwing stuff out there either. Also in the interest of full disclosure: I'm human and sometimes I'm wrong (there I said it - just don't tell my wife and kids:smile:)

Record validations

What I find interesting is that the middle 50% percentile SAT scores for the class of 2016 is significantly lower than 2015, but they hold the record for the most course validations of any class.
