IL is still pretty under-represented based on the population. I think. Based on our limited numbers available anyway. And this is what I tell myself to keep hope alive.
Ditto in PA.

@DDCopilot what's your analysis on NY? I think there is still only one represented on the appointment thread. We live in an ultra competitive part of VA but DH's home of record and current duty station is NY so thats where DS sought a nomination. Has presidential too though.Spreadsheets are my love language.
My DD is running the show over here so I did the only thing I could…I copied the last 5 years data into a spreadsheet and started to do some analysis on it. I posted on another thread some of the limited conclusions I could draw but the dataset is likely not representative of the overall candidate appointment experience. I’m happy to look at anything for anyone on here (as time and work allows) if you all have any questions or want to see anything. I’ll do my best to not draw poor conclusions with the data.
Thank you. This process has clearly stunted my ability to scan a list of screen names and acronyms!

Wow that is weird, NY usually posts 10-12 appointments a class. there is only 1 so far this year (as of a couple days ago). NY is also all over the place with when appointments come in so no easy conclusion to draw there. I can tell you that appointment notifications overall seem a little later this year than in previous years, but they do seem to have caught up in the last couple of weeks.@DDCopilot what's your analysis on NY? not too much MI has reported 3 appointments just about every class (5 for the COVID class of 2025). they have 3 reported so far this year. but that's a really small sample.Any data for Michigan ?
Thanks!! It's something . In some ways makes me feel better but I have no idea why lol.Wow that is weird, NY usually posts 10-12 appointments a class. there is only 1 so far this year (as of a couple days ago). Sorry to hear. Good luck!Turned down.
Would be a shame to give up the ship before i’m even on, right?
Time to find out the email of my new congressman’s office, get ready to obliterate another CFA, and move forward. The B&G interview was fun, and I’m excited for another.
Wish I could know who received the appointment from my district, I bet they are a heck of an amazing person.
There are also about 13 appointment entries without a state listed and one overseas (OCONUS).Info compiled to date from self reported appointments to date, when poster provided state. Obviously a very small sample of the actual number of appointments.

I think #94 is NJ now, there was a data duplication on that list.
Sure! IL typically reports 7 or 8 appointments (low 5, high 10), with nothing consistent on waitlist. I see 7 reported so far this cycle.Well in that case, can you do IL too?
