Does anyone know what dances/balls mids can participate in and what their dates are?

There are some plebe dances. They're all lame. Unless you have a girlfriend coming to visit, or you've never made eye contact with a woman in your life do not go. Enjoy your liberty with your friends unless you're just dying to get your swag on and do the stanky leg. Go to the I-Ball in the Spring. It's a blast. Once you turn 21, it gets even more fun. Plenty of civilian companions are shipped in and on the prowl. The dates probably aren't set for anything so just check the skeds from time to time, or go bug the annoying etiquette lady about it.

Are mids allowed to wear civilian attire for the dances>?

Nope...Even at Ring Dance, all Mids are supposed to be in uniform. Still, some see what they can get away with.
