Man that was a funny video, those white uniforms alone make me want to switch from army sometimes...... waaaaaay better than our class Bs.
 
As an alumnus of the school these Mids are hoping to beat, I think it would be great if a Keydet response was initiated. I don't have high hopes, however.

Navy will certainly beat VMI, but I'll raise my glass to a good effort.

Stranger things have happened but the VMI team has been so bad for so long and their first two games have followed the same pattern, that it would be in the divine intervention category I think for VMI to win. But it could happen. :rolleyes: I hope the Keydets do well and have a good trip.
 
I see the Shako from VMI on my brother in law's mantle all the time. Two great institutions. It could happen.:biggrin:
 
We played Navy when I was a Second at VMI. Mids won 42-7, and it wasn't as close as the score would indicate. Since I'm from Annapolis, it was cool to come home for that weekend. Indeed, the weekend away from the Institute was the highlight, not so much the game. :shake:

A good effort and a good trip for the Corps is all any Keydet could hope for. I did see on the Navy sports site that they will play the VMI Doxology at the end of the game in addition to Navy Blue and Gold (that's what it's called, right?). I think that's very classy of USNA to let the VMI band do that. I don't know if they do that for all of their opponents (I know they do for other SAs), but I like it.

3-3 after 1st Quarter. Navy having a few problems hanging on to the football-2 turnovers and a big stop by VMI defense after 1st & Goal held them to FG. VMI starting QB is out though. Go Keydets!:eek:

USNA`s spirit spot has had 4,912,167 views as of right this minute. Air Force has 15,842 views, and West Point`s has had 302 views. Of course, USNA`s was released 2 weeks ago, AFA`s was released 2 days ago, and WP`s 3 hours ago, but I still think that USNA`s was and is more popular.
