I'm attending the USNA Inspire Program this weekend (essentially a CVW where they pay for your + a parent's transportation) as a junior in high school.
There is an optional CFA taking place the last morning of the program. I did a self-test CFA in the gym a couple days ago and my scores were very, very low - I haven't been to the gym in 6+ months (junior year is quite busy, but I should be going more) and I quit the only sport I played last year. I've been trying to get back in shape for the past two weeks, but it wasn't enough to substantially change my score. I've been nervous for the past couple of days about going to the USNA solely due to the CFA. I don't even know how I was accepted to Inspire without being in any substantial sports
Should I take it, or would it be better to do more prep and take it at a later time? I'm going to the Inspire program to see if I want to apply to the USNA in the first place (I still am not set on applying to the academies; going to Inspire to understand what life is like there vs. a traditional college experience).
Thank you in advance!
