I'm filling out the DODMETS medical survey right now and I'm getting really worried about how strict the disqualifiers are. I feel so anxious checking boxes. I had a history of food allergies, eczema, and asthma but I've outgrown all of them in the past 5 years (except for a pesky hazelnut allergy). Whenever I look these up online I see they're disqualifying, it's extremely worrying. Are waivers given often, and if I need three waivers for each former condition are my chances slim?

Google "DoDMERB;"
Hit "Questions on the process;'
Read paragraphs 11-12; 15-23

I'm having trouble finding it, could you post a link please?

Google “DoDMERB home page.” Hit “continue” when the security screen comes up. Look on the left-hand side for the menu items.

screen shots from my iPhone of what you should see, used both safari and Google:CBED180D-2243-4839-8C0B-00D4E4FC7ADB.jpegF02BCBCA-2100-42F8-A778-EF11A76F865E.jpeg

Found it thanks to you! Very calming for the nerves. Now all I have to worry about is tracking down all the dates of medical exams, feel good about waiver odds knowing that it seems to be a case-by-case basis. People on this forum are so helpful!!!

My DS had some of those same issues. He was able to receive a waiver for a food allergy after successfully completing oral immunotherapy. You should look into it to see if it can be treated asap. There is still time left.
