My portal shows that my personal statement was received by USNA on 9/27 but it is not showing that it is validated by USNA. Similarly for my SAT scores, they are posted under “official test scores” in the upper right but under the list of additional requirements the official test score is blank. Is this normal? Should I be contacting admissions?

I was going to ask the same thing, because the same thing is happening to me!

I'm also concerned with the fact that my portal says it was last updated on October 2nd, which is more than a week ago, in which I've completed a lot more in my file, so that is a bit concerning to not see it all showing up...

Mine says last updated October 5 at 8:00 PM. I saw my BGO at an event and she indicated I didn’t have enough done in my application but all I see left is my CFA (scheduled for Wednesday), DoDmerb (did last week) and my math teacher hasn’t done the evaluation yet. I asked him on 9/12!!
 
I wouldn't worry about it just yet, my portal had not updated for a while. But one week they just updated everything, and then I received a LOA. It'll take some time for them to update, they've been pretty behind from what I've read and can tell. If it makes you feel better, my bgo turned his interview in last thursday, and my portal hasn't been updated since the 7th. Just give them a week or so.

I wouldn't worry about it at all, my personal statement was received on 7/18 and still hasn't been validated. The test scores will take 4-6 weeks to show. If you are really worried about it email your admissions counselor.
 
Or just pop up on the live chat with Admissions, candidate number handy. Go to the Admissions page, click on the chat bot contact link, and you’ll see either the time of the next chat or join the live chat.

Admissions continues to work with this new software and IT to resolve issues. As Capt. M.J. has posted, the Chat function is the best way to make sure all is in order.
