I was wondering if anyone knows how many days prior enlisted have to report to USNA. I have a couple friends who will have to do this, and I was trying to make plans ahead of time. If anyone knows, it would be greatly appreciated if you could tell me. Thank you!

Well I have been asking a few chiefs of mine the same thing in hopes that I will get accepted of course. One chief said it mainly depends on the detailer writing the orders and possibly how many days of leave you have before you have to report. This is the best answer I have received so far, sorry I can't help more. I'm assuming that the friends of yours will know pretty soon so they have time to transfer commands and take care of everything, but again thats my assumption.

bump for a better answer than mine

I seem to recall that NAPSters and prior enlisted report the day before I-day to get processed in, but I don't know anything more helpful than that.

Priors along with NAPSters do report I-Day minus 2. They will do their actual processing on I-Day minus 1.

Once they report in you generally will not see them again until after the Swearing In Ceremony on I-Day.
