USNA status addition

Status

OK so here is the skinny on the status update at least from our perspective; DS's status changed to the APNAP sub agency on 15 March today March 19 letter dated the 15th arrived from USNA admissions so it seems the date the letter was printed is the day the status changed.

If I was an applicant, parent, advocate, etc., I would watch the DoDMERB website for my medcial status and watch the website of the program to which I was applying for my Admissions status. That is the best way to monitor progress.:thumb:

Just an observation. Could it be dodmerb has eliminated the admission status tag line for SA's/ROTC because too many candidates/parents etc use dodmerb to verify admission status. After all dodmerb charge is to determine candidates medical qualifications to serve in the military during and post education.

We are NOT able to eliminate it yet. That said, Admission status should be checked with Admissions at the Academy applicant is applying to.:thumb:

Problem is that some SAs like Navy don't have an admissions tracker on their site. You can only call monday through friday at 8-4 (While most of us are in school). DoDMERB has become the easier way to check the status.
