I went through the dodmerb process beginning with scheduling through dodmets and eventually ending up with a qualified status in my dodmerb portal in January after a long wait. A few days latter my medical qualification showed up as being cleared for USAFA. For my USNA portal it has still not shown up as completed so I contacted my admissions counselor. Like others on the forum have said, the admissions counselor asked for a copy of the document stating my medical qualification. I sent the document stating my medical qualification to him but he said that the document only lists the USAFA so the medical team can not accept it. When I go back to the portal I realise that only the medical qualification is listed as being for USAFA. I had always heard that Dodmerb was universal but this does not seem to be the case. Does the USNA have to do their own Dodmerb review in order for me to fulfill the medical qualification requirement?
 
My situation is very similar to "SpaceisAboveAll"'s post at the top. I applied to USNA, USMMA, and USCGA. Either the USMMA or USCGA initiated my DODMERB and DODMET physical request which is completed. In my DODMERB portal there are two separate letters stating "SERVICE ACADEMY/ROTC MEDICAL QUALIFICATION DETERMINATION AS OF: 30 December 2020 for the US Coast Guard Academy - Qualified and US Merchant Marine Academy - Qualified." MY USMMA candidate portal shows "Medical Status: Qualified, and my USCGA admissions officer told me that they have received my medical qualification (USCGA portal does not display medical qualification status). So, the communication pipe between DODMERB and USMMA and USCGA worked. I have communicated my concern to my USNA admissions officer as to why they have either not requested my medical qualification information or if they have requested it and have not received it yet. My USNA admissions officer replied, "It takes time." Is there any way to generate the letter for USNA saying I'm medically qualified?

Mr. Mullen,

I sent the email, however, I don't think my DODMERB medically qualified letters for the USMMA and USCGA uploaded properly. If you need those I can resend them to your email address. Thank you so much!!!
 
I have already responded and those were unnecessary :wiggle:
