Not USAFA-related, but given the messages posted from some other OPs on other threads regarding recent input from USAFA admissions counselors on the Class of 2024 being almost full, this is the exploration of Plan B. Realizing there is still some hope for USAFA, as others have pointed out, but also balancing the need for reality and planning, here's a few questions:
Anybody have experience with the University of Texas at Austin and their Air Force ROTC program? Further, any experience as a student in the Cockrell School of Engineering there while also a member of AFROTC?
Looking for any observations, experiences, opinion on balancing the AFROTC responsibilities with the engineering curriculum, etc. Basically anything you might know that you think would be helpful for someone considering those options.
