Hello, Ahead of the nomination application deadline, I called my congressman's office to see what materials I still had to submit. While on the phone with the service academy coordinator, he was looking over my transcript, and he said: "With your existing information, I'm going to give you the nomination. No need to submit the essays, or interview. The nomination will appear on your portal around January" I thought he was joking so I laughed with him. Then he repeated it, and I am shell-shocked. Is this even possible? No need for even an interview??? I feel like this is too good to be true, but he is the one in charge of nominations, so... Don't know how to feel right now, so thought I would let everything out to you guys!
