I am an incoming freshman in to the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets as an Army ROTC cadet. One of the requirements is a DODMERB evaluation. It does not say on the application whether I need a DODMERB physician to do my evaluation, or if I may simply have my private physician complete the examination. Does anyone know if I must schedule an appointment with a specific DODMERB physician?

Im currently in the VTCC. I came in as a freshman two years ago so I dont know if the process is still the same. But all we had to do was get the physical form approved by any physician. And that took care of all VTCC requirements.

But if you have an approved DoDMERB already for ROTC then you can just use that and the corps will accept it.
