VMI Army ROTC unit wins MacArthur Award

    VMI's Army ROTC unit has won the 2016 MacArthur Award for the 1st Brigade (First BDE is composed of the 6 SMCs and 6 Junior Military Colleges) for the 2d straight year and 3d time in the last 4 years. In 2016 VMI Commissioned 124 Army officers - had 35 DMGs and 2 cadets in the top 10 cadets in the country including the #1 ranked cadet.
