VMI or USMMA

Have you visited both? Did one feel more like, this is my place than the other?
I don't know much about USMMA. My friends daughter is there and loves it. My son is a 2nd (junior) at VMI, and it is definitely right for him. I have nothing but good things to say about VMI.
It s a very small school, about 1,700. Each class matriculates about 500 'rats'. They bond quickly and for life. Small class sizes, most of the professors care very much that the students succeed and will help, if they as for it. VMI is very structured. There isn't much free time rat year. Deep sense of history and pride in that history. The alumni network is outstanding.

Thanks for the reply. I think my son will end up at VMI. It's a tough choice. USMMA is very unique. Two good choices are not a bad thing to have. It definitely helps to hear from others who had a good experience at VMI.
