For those interested in VMI, here is a link with some pics for the Spring 2016 FTX. Exercise is on-going 1-5 April with the various ROTCs each doing their specific service related training. It is amazing the great support VMI gets from the Virginia Army National Guard and from each service's active duty units. For AROTC, Chinook and Blackhawk helos landed on parade ground and ferried some of the AROTC cadets to Fort Pickett. AFROTC went to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. NROTC went to Norfolk and Marines went to Quantico. VMI Juniors and Seniors not planning to commission participated in repair and restoration projects giving back to the community.
