In one of your earlier messages, you mentioned a couple of events; (1) Austin event at the State Capitol, and (2) a Galveston event. Can you say more or email a website about the events?

Thanks Objee, we still have a bit hope left for my son! Another rosary is warranted tonight. I've following these boards for awhile now and this is my first post. Do you have an idea how many appointments will me made on Monday? My son received a strong recommendation from the cross country and track coaches. Do these recommendations carry any additional weight at this point in the process? Thanks and congratulations to all the appointees.

This board has been such a source of great friendship and support, and I hope to never stop posting. So with that said, Keep Those Gills Wet Gang! Hello Neighbor,

Your son will receive a call or email from the TX Parent Assoc. about the event in Galveston, which takes place in June. And Senator John Cornyn's office will send your son an invitation to a private event in Austin.

I spoke with my son today and shared the news that another kid from Katy was heading to CT. He was delighted to hear this and wants to connect with your son before SWAB summer begins. Note that during SWAB summer, they will not be allowed to communicate to one another. My son heads out on summer training around May 7th, so hopefully they can connect via email or cell before then.

You mentioned that your son's coach called in an earlier email... What sport does he play? My son plays football.

Okay Gang,

This is the final push week for appointments and final month or so of children's high school careers. My son has extreme studying to do in this last 1.5 months with all his final exams coming up. No slacking off for us; I told him it's important to finish strong.

Prayed hard last night for everyone and will continue. Come on Appointment! :thumb: -officer

i just called admissions and they said they sent me a letter about a week ago.... to the wrong address.. my admissions officer said he would send another letter out, but he didnt say if i recieved an appointment or not
 
Nothing in the mail today

Hard to believe but true. That leads us to believe that since Objee said the Friday decisions were mailed USPS First class mail, that our son was not in the group decided on last Friday (we live in CT). Of course we could be wrong. So the waiting continues...

Hoping to read good news from others still waiting!

Hopefully no news is good news and we will have to wait a little longer here in Virginia.

Nothing in the mail today in New York (2 hours from New London). Perhaps he's in the final decision pool for today? Will there be calls tonight, Objee?
