The Waiting Continues for Another Day

No twe's of the non-accept or wait list variety, so we live to see another day dawn before any answers are revealed. Keep the faith, everyone! There is a destiny....
 
Hoping everyone hears GOOD NEWS tomorrow...I know this waiting must be awful, because I, myself, am not a "good" waiter! Will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers tonight!

Ive been watching everyone with the 'no mail today' messages and that actually helps that it isn't just us still waiting. Nothing in MA today also. Keep praying we are all in the last packet of appointments. Hope we all have a great 15th !! with big white envelopes. :thumb:
 
well its now the 15th.. and i have been at work for a couple days and will be at work for about a week... should i call admissions??? what do you guys think
 
My husband called admissions yesterday...The admissions rep told him that there were about 50-75 applications still under review and not to panic. As far as my son is concerned, he did say that there was neither an acceptance or a denial pending because his application is still in that pile. Not the answer we were hoping for but it does give us some peace. He also told my husband that not everyone received phones calls and if you didn't doesnt mean that you won't be offered an appointment. Theres still a chance so keep positive thoughts everyone!!! You're all in my prayers...and if you can add my son to yours that would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Congratulations to all who received the appointments!

BTW, still nothing in NJ....but keeping the hope alive!

That's GREAT news! Keeping hope alive!!! Keeping fingers and toes crossed still for everyone waiting...too much longer and they're going to cramp up!!!

I think this could be good news. I remember when son got an email back from AO just three days before the first RA bulk mailing was to go out (Friday, April 9th) and was told that there was no change in his status. We were thinking, "Uh-oh, does that mean still no change as in still no appointment for you just like we told you during EA, or does that mean still no change as in they are still deciding and haven't come to a conclusion yet."

But on the 10th, son got his appointment phone call and BFE on the 12th. So my point is...Keep Hope Alive, and be encouraged that CGA is taking the time to look at your son's/daughter's application very well; you're still in the running! All the kids and families on this board are the best and should be very proud of themselves no matter what; I really believe that :thumb:.

FWIW-I just called admissions becaue I was wondering if my son would be receiving a letter, officially, since he was DQ'd for a peanut allergy in January. The lady I spoke with said the last of the letters will be mailed out tomorrow and everyone should receive something by Saturday or Monday. Good luck.

Our son just got his letter and he is honored to be wait-listed for CGA. Thank you to everyone who has been praying and encouraging us stragglers. Wishing good news for everyone still waiting.

I'm so glad you have finally received word from CGA...look back at some of the old posts from last year...I remember several posters actually being appointed from the waitlist!
