So if your DS/DD is on the wait list can they start an application for 2025 or should they wait until everything is wrapped up?
 
Acc. to my counselor you should wait, ask them what to improve later if they dont get off the waitlist, and then reapply.
 
What’s the difference between waitlist and “national pool”. Have the National pool appointments already been offered? And the wait list is beyond that? Is the wait list people from states that are ‘next up’ should some of the states LOA’s not clear, or there are still undecideds?
 
The "National Pool" and the "National Wait List" are used as interchangeable terms around the Naval Academy forum. I don't know much about those other forums, because I don't visit them as often. I expect it's the same there.
