We need to pass the time somehow. Let’s be positive! Anybody want to say what colleges that have been accepted to so we can see how many awesome kids there are here ?!?! I’m regularly impressed by the caliber of people in this forum. It’s not easy to even be in this situation. Everyone is exceptional. What’s your plan b or c?

Current plan B is AROTC at Virginia Tech. Received the scholarship and am pretty excited about it. Still holding out for USNA and USCGA!

Plan "A" s as well.
Remember, Plan A dosen't always have to be a SA.
Plan A should be what's best for you.

NROTC at the University of Pittsburgh, Engineering. If DS doesn't get the NROTC scholarship, he has already been offered a 50% academic Dean's scholarship.

It won't be long now. And remember, every day CPR is a day with no TWE!

DS is still waiting on 6 decisions that don’t notify until March 30 or even April 5. But if the ones he is already admitted to he has ranked Michigan and GaTech engineering as his top choices. Waiting on stanford MIT and Cornell. And USNA. All great choices and will do NROTC

My DS is also waiting on MIT decision, along with USNA although I get the feeling if he is not accepted to MIT he will accept his USAFA appointment....good luck to both of our DS's on Pi Day!!

Totally agree! DD had a plan "A, B, and C" only to realize once all her options were on the table, they were all plan A's. Each had its own pro's and con's and it took weighing all of them carefully to make the best decision for her.

Good luck to all the young adults going through this right now. Seeing all the talent and maturity on this forum the past few months makes me confident that your generation is more than capable of leading this world.
