Waiting for “How to schedule medical exam”from DoDMERB

Approximately how long do you have to wait to be contacted by the DODMERB to schedule a medical appointment? My son has had 4 of the required 7 forms completed for quite some time. He reached out to his admissions counselor and she simply stated that DoDERM will contact you and that the medical does Not play into his deadline. Also- do ALL candidates get a medical? Or is This part of the selection....?
I am secretly wringing my hands!! 😬

Have your SON...the applicant...send me an email: Lawrence.e.mullen.civ@mail.mil; provide complete name and last 4 SSN; have him paste your posting above to the email...provided he knows you sent it:)

YOU = Goofle "DoDMERB;" Hit "Questions on the process;" YOU read paragraph 4. SON= read the rest of the document :wiggle:

No need to wring your hands...YOU are too old to be considered:bang:
 
There's still plenty of time. My son wasn't contacted til late December last year and got it all done in early January.

I started my application on September 18th and was sent an email on September 25 to take the DoDMERB medical exam. I guess it depends.
 
And based on what you said, Admissions told us to authorize you for DoDMERB exams on either 24 or 25 Sep :wiggle:

Thank you for the quick response. And sadly I AM too old!
At this time, my son is declining the offer of emailing you. He= is being patient!
We have both since read the suggested paragraphs. ☺️
“Admissions is the ignition” ... got it.

I have currently completed everything on my DODMETS application in order to download my medical exam packet. Though, in order to officially download my medical exam packet, I need a CIV Team member to email it to my email address. I haven't received any emails or responses from any team members regarding my medical exam packet, and it's already the day before the exam. I have called, emailed the CIV Team, and even emailed the CIV Team President, still no callbacks or responses. So, this forum is sort of my last resort to receive any definite response regarding my issue.
 
NOTE: It is 3:02 AM here in Col Spgs where I am.

If you are from Colo Spgs, I already took care of it.

If you are not, I would have no idea who you are: send me an email: Lawrence.e.mullen.civ@mail.mil; provide complete name and last 4 SSN; have him paste your posting above to the email.

Often we hear of things ending up in SPAM folders...have you checked? This could be from a different email than you have received correspondence from before.

At 5am I was able receive a response back from a CIV Team member with my Exam Packet 🥳.

Hi justdoit,
I disabled my spam folder and opted all messages to be sent to my inbox. Though, a CIV Team Member was able to reach out to me this morning at 5 a.m. PDT. So, all is good :). Thanks for the advice though, it is much appreciated!
