Waiting on NROTC waiver

Hello! I was awarded a 4 year NROTC scholarship, but had been disqualified by dodmerb for shoulder subluxation/instability when I was applying for USNA. I received arthroscopy surgery for a torn labrum December of 2015, and went through physical therapy. I officially accepted the scholarship a little over two weeks ago, and nothing has changed on my dodmerb portal. It doesn't even have a section for NROTC. I'm a little on edge, worried that I may lose this scholarship over this. Should I contact someone in Pensacola about the lack of activity in dodmerb? Should I contact dodmerb? Should I send in any additional paperwork from my doctor assuring them I have full range of motion?

Any and all advice about who/when/if I should contact is greatly appreciated!

My dodmerb portal still says pending waiver review, but a few days ago I received a waiver in the mail from bumed. So watch the mail as well as the portal!

It really is out of DoDMERB's hands now. You were DQ'd so it is up to NROTC to obtain the waiver.

If it were my DS, I would contact your college NROTC recruiting officer or freshman advisor, and see if they can get you an update.

Perhaps @NavyNOLA can offer additional guidance.
