Do they have different standards? Haven't heard anything for 2+ weeks from dodmerb since I submitted my exam to them.

The standard for “meets standards/does not meet standards” is the same - that is what DoDMERB uses to make its decision. DoDMERB is not the waiver authority.

Each service and each commissioning source has its own waiver policy and process. Among the services, policies differ because the mission, operating environment, gear and equipment differ. Among the commissioning sources in a service, policies differ because there may be more or less flexibility to grant waivers within that pipeline.
