Hello!

I received an appointment yesterday conditional on the completion of all aspects of my application (is that an LOA? I'm not quite sure). As of right now, I only have medical left to check off. I took my exam in November and was disqualified in January for Asthma and have been "Under Waiver Review" since.

I know I might be jumping the gun since I only received my appointment yesterday evening but I was worried since haven't received any word from DoDMERB yet about what to do in order to complete the waiver process.

Any help, advice, or insight would be appreciated! Thank You!

I was in a similar position but got the letter in late March. I waited for a little bit, then one day in April called a couple people(usna admissions, dodmerb, waiver authority). Could very well be a coincidence but that was the day my portal updated with AMIs for asthma, like you. I was disqualified around February but completed my application earlier, probably why I got the letter earlier. Either way I'd sit tight for a little bit, or call some people if you really are worried. They'll probably just tell you to wait though.
