My son is an MMA applicant who has been pursuing a medical waiver since March 30, 2022. The codes listed include academic skills disorder and history of adjustment disorder. He had a 504 plan in junior high which we kept in place when he started a new high school. The accommodations were not utilized, but when he changed high school junior year, it went with him. Again, he did not use the accommodations and it was terminated in August 2021, prior to his senior year. We provided statements from his high schools and his transcripts including mid-spring semester grades. We provided pharmacy records to verify he has not received medication for an ADHD diagnosis when he was 7 years old. We provided a letter from his doctor stating Sam does not have an active ADHD diagnosis and never received medication. He saw a counselor in junior high after we moved across the country and periodically in high school when he changed schools. He did not see the counselor during the pandemic or during his junior or senior years of high school. He never received medication and was not diagnosed with any mental health issues. We provided the counselor's notes, a summary of the notes from the counselor, and a statement from the counselor. DoDMERB is now asking for his cumulative GPA and transcripts after he graduates in May 2022. This will be beyond the May 1 decision deadline for colleges, and we will not be able to get the deposit back on his other school's application, housing etc. and we have to commit to the financial package. Any advice?
