Same here. My DD appealed and was denied. She has no health issues and doctors proved that she is very healthy but still got denied. I wish they give a reason why her appeal was denied. I do not understand.......I recently was denied a medical waiver to USAFA and I was denied again after appealing it. Is this the end of the line, or can anything else be done?

The USAFA medical exam system is broken. She passed the medical exam (performed at their site) but the medical denied it because she answered some questions "yes". Regardless of doctors' notes, the USAFA will always deny the medical appeal. This is a completely broken system. Anyone can lie the medical questions then will they pass them??? This is completely wrong.

My daughter will live a guilty feeling and learn the lesson that "don't be honest and cheating is good".
@A1Janitor, That's not what I meant. I'm just saying that people including her could be answered "no" to all the questions and then she wouldn't be denied. Regardless of the doctors' prove that she still got denied.I wouldn’t let my daughter assume that the people that got waivers were dishonest or cheating.

Not true. DS received a medical DQ but, after submitting requested follow-up documentation (and a long wait), he was granted a waiver. Medical questions need to ALWAYS be answered with complete honesty.Same here. My DD appealed and was denied. She has no health issues and doctors proved that she is very healthy but still got denied.
