Greetings,
Can anyone advise if a patellar dislocation is grounds for a MERB DQ? The regulation reads something to the effect..."history of any knee dislocation".... Does this include patellar as well?
There are both a true knee dislocation..very severe..and the much more common. .less severe patellar dislocation.
DD*dislocated patella in sports injury over 18 months ago....no ligament damage and all intact...no lose or foreign object...no derangement....physical therapy eight sessions then released back to unrestricted actvity. ..no brace required.Playing competive high school varsity and very select club travel sports with no pain or any reoccurrence. No other injuries past or present.
The question is...and sorry it took so long to get here..... Does the USCGA grant waivers for this type of past injury to athletes??*DD was offered appointment early november during EA1...
DoDMERB sent all records pertaining to injury at their request last week... Thanks in advance.....
