Long story short I recently told the Naval Academy that I had Walking Pneumonia during the winter. I had to let them know if I had an illnesses between DodMerb and getting a BFE. When they found out, I was asked to get a chest X-ray to check the condition of my lungs. The final report said "Lungs are clear. No pleural effusion (no liquid in lungs)". I'm just nervous because I haven't heard anything back yet. Is this enough to take back my acceptance?

Relax. That finding means you are all better. If they want any more tests they will let you know but I can't imagine this acute illness with no complications would cause them to rescind BFE. They just wanted to make sure you wouldn't have any lingering breathing issues. From my understanding, you won't hear anything more unless there is an issue.

So funny, right after I saw your reply I got an email from the medical officer saying I was good to go, can't wait!
