How do the "additional remarks" factor in the whole candidate score? Do they just arbitrarily add "X" amount of points they feel an additional activity or award deserves? Do they have some sort of guideline?
Wow, I always wondered about this as well. I didn't have a lot of the boxes checked, but I put a ton of additional remarks because I had leadership activities that weren't included in the list. I wonder if they have equivalent impacts? For example, I am not in the student body as a leader for my school, but I am a leader/liaison for my sport in the Midwest. Hmm.
