Hello, I am finished with my application but I am wondering if I am at risk with not getting an appointment because of my weight. I am 6' and weigh 140 pounds. Does anyone know if this can get be disqualified or not? I do not have any medical problems when it comes to my Dodmerb. Thank you

They only post maximum weight standards. For 6', it's 184 lbs. I also read somewhere that the minimum weight is 91 lbs. Either way, you're well within the standards from what I can see, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Ok, that is relieveing to hear, thank you.

The minimum weight is not 91 lbs. That is if you are 58" tall. My ds was flagged for being underweight last cycle at 5'10" and 131lbs. I think his cutoff was 132. It did not disqualify him and he got an appointment. USMA made him send in measurements but USAFA didn't.

A Google search shows the cutoff for 6' is 140 so you should be fine. Even if you lose a tiny bit, shouldn't flag anything.

All the services have min/max standards matrixes to height for accession. I think USAFA posts the max weight for associated height.

Do you think i'll be good? I am still going to try to gain a little more weight tho.

You got the right minimum above. A little strategic weight training will add weight in the right places.

That makes more sense, thanks for the correction!

According to Dr. Nick "there are many options available for dangerously underweight individuals like yourself. When selecting foods...rub it on a piece of paper...if it turns clear that is your window to weight gain!"

The Simpson's comedy aside. You are likely a "slow gainer" in the muscle head lingo. Probably will need to modify your diet a bit to over-calorie and lift HEAVY. Calorie excess is easy to obtain by simply adding 1-4 protein shakes like Orgain per day. You will gain muscle AND fat at the same time but either likely won't hurt you. Ideally building muscle faster than fat and then burn the fat off when you go back into a calorie deficit which would happen the moment you stop drinking the shakes.

Oh...if you start lifting heavy - be careful and don't forget leg day.

Enjoy being blessed with the skinny gene - bisons like the rest of us are forced to eat dry salad because just looking at a slice of pizza makes us gain 5lbs.
