Were CORTRAMIDS cancelled this summer ?

I heard they were delayed and or cancelled then they were back on. Just wondering where that all landed.
 
I believe you are thinking about Sea Trials, which were cancelled. People have been posting about CORTRAMIDS that took place this summer.
 
In reading about what they do at INDOC, it appears that some of what had been done at Sea Trials (for example, damage control/fire fighting) are now done at INDOC. I believe both Sea Trials and INDOC are very new and started about the same time (like two years ago). I am guessing that they have decided to combine both and maybe not do Sea Trials any more. We will see.
 
Both CORTRAMIDs happened. Above posts are correct about half of Sea Trials got slashed.
 
Yup, my DS is in week 4 of CORTAMID. Just finished Sub Week and now onto flying. According to him sub week was “****ing cool”. It’s funny, he never used to curse. He even got a tattoo! An American flag on the back of his left shoulder. I was against it, but it does look good.

This made me smile....the mouth. It’s been a popular comment among my USNA friends who have Mids out and about. The language has sure changed [emoji38]
