My DS just became an Eagle Scout tonight...trying to update his file tonight before app closes tomorrow.

Anyone heard anything about the site?

It’s down for me too. My guess would be that it has to do with the first wave of appointments coming out tomorrow...but I may be wrong
 
OK...so when the portal is down it is never a 'secret message from Admissions.' It just means the portal is down.
Have your kid try to upload his Eagle Scout tonight--and again in the morning. Not bad to try to CALL the regional rep from school if he cannot get into the portal.
Congratulations on reaching Eagle.
 
Official verbiage from the director of admissions..."30 Jan 2020 - CL2024 File Completion Deadline Extended - As a result of recent technical difficulties that rendered the candidate portal unavailable for a few hours overnight, the Director of Admissions has decided to extend the file completion deadline through the weekend. The new deadline is midnight, Sunday night, February 2, 2020. Candidates and all Admissions personnel are being notified of this extension via email and portal announcements."
 
Please, can someone who is not me (I am teaching)--make a POST in the forum about the extended deadline? This is rather big news for the applicants.
 
Of course not. Either they will come out today or not come out today. Seems late on the East Coast if there is nothing on the FB West Point Admissions page.
