Kind of new to USMA. How much do they pay cadets per month? Does it increase by year? What do the cadets spend it on

The money that ends up in the cadets' bank accounts monthly are theirs to spend as they wish. When DS visited Washington DC on a club field trip he spent some on food and snacks. He has a lot left monthly since he is frugal and uses standard issue stuff provided at USMA.

if I remember correctly. These numbers fluctuate a bit for inflation; I am currently receiving about $620/mo as a Firstie.

We're getting about 282 a month right now (as a plebe).

My Yuk is getting $332 per month and spending $400+ on food! He says long lines at the mess hall for food that it is hit or miss at best. Lot's of Grant Hall, American Burrito, West Point Pizza and Doordash. He says he's very busy with studies, gym and club sports so it works better for him to eat on his own schedule. I told him that's 100% fine, do whatever works best.

Not sure why but my roomates and I earn different pay (plebes). I earn 230, one earns 260, and the other earns 290. Probably has to do with income tax.
