What personal things can be brought to Plebe Summer, and once confiscated, when can you get them back?

I know that no matter what you bring to Beast, it is taken during R-Day and your stuff disappears for a while.

Where does your stuff go and when do you get it back?

And idea of some of these things to bring to make life easier at a SA?

When would the next opportunity be to go to a store to buy some non GI items?

I've heard about buying and bringing your own broken in shoes a well but what is the requirement on boots?

Is there anything that you are not allowed to bring on R-Day?

If you bring mole skins and blister medic, will that be confiscated too?

Things such as electronics and other random-ness not needed for beast simply stay with your civilian bag which is stored in an un-occupied room in the company area with everyone else's bags. After beast, all that stuff is given back to you just as you left it 6 weeks before. :)

1. They store your stuff that you do not decide to take in one of the trunk rooms. You get it back right after beast.

2. I would get things on A-day or shipped to me after Beast. I would not bring things to beast that aren't really necessary for beast. I'm pretty sure I just left my bags and extra underwear for them to store. It is just more stuff to carry on R-day, and will take up the space of better items for you to bring.

3. A-day, the weekend after beast. Might change because of covid.

4. There should be a list of acceptable boots. Definitely break these in before and go on a few rucks before beast.

5. There should be a list of not allowed items on R-day. In case you bring one by accident, they will have a chance for you to give up those items with no punishment
