My daughter will be doing an overnight visit at USCGA. She isn't going on a regularly scheduled visit day, but she arranged with the coach to come up for an afternoon/evening and then through the next day. She will have a host student (although she doesn't have her contact info yet) and then will get to attend classes and work out with the team. Obviously she needs to bring work out gear, and based on what some people have mentioned for other visits, she's planning on wearing khakis. However, she's not sure whether to go with a button up shirt or a polo shirt or perhaps one of her T-shirts from AIM. Any suggestions? She's also not sure if it matters what she does with her hair on the visit. I know a normal ponytail isn't allowed for cadets, but is that fine for those doing a visit? Also, should she bring a sleeping bag and pillow?

Business Casual, footwear appropriate for walking hills and steps. Warm outerwear for braving NE weather between buildings.

Yes bring a pillow and sleeping bag. She will be sleeping on a cot in a room with cadets.

Khakis and a polo shirt and good shoes to walk up hills etc. Warm weather gear as well because it has been cold back there lately.

She can wear her hair in a pony tail..
