I do not have food allergies but there is no option to say I do not in the additional questions portion of the medical history survey. Same thing goes for insect allergies. Can I proceed and submit the survey without filling anything out in these sections?

This is just my opinion. I would not leave them blank. I believe that the forms showed up as a result of your previous answers in the questionnaire and they want more information from you. It is possible that if you leave them blank, your DodMETS may come up as incomplete or trigger an AMI which will delay your DoDMERB process. I would find somewhere on the forms that you can type and put your statement in there. May be if there is anything on the form that says 'other' or something similar.

Our DS had a similar issue: Clicked "yes" on question #2 due to a medication allergy...and that opened up all of the allergy-related "additional questions" (he has no food or insect allergies). He e-mailed DoDMERB and here was their response:

"Per DoDMERB’s specifications, our software does not permit a “Yes” to “No” change in the medical
history survey. You may however make any necessary adjustments manually; please print out your survey, make the
changes, and sign and date whatever adjustments you make. The medical provider to which you have
been assigned will review those changes with you during your appointment."
