I am a prior service in the Air Force. To sum up this real quick, I was not happy being behind a computer all day in the Air Force and I filled out the voluntary separation and brought it to my First Sgt. He helped me get out of the Air Force but I have a re code that requires a waiver.
I met with the Army ROTC recruiter at my university several times and he said because I have a good GPA, if I do well on my PT test (270 or better) my waiver would get approved.
My question is, what are some key points I should include in my letter included with the waiver?
In no way am I trying to have anyone write this for me, I am just looking for ideas and really want to get into the ROTC program. I feel the Army will be a way better fit for me since I have always been very physically fit and active. I am also going to include how I will do the SMP program to show how dedicated I am to becoming an Army officer.
Thank you.
