When can I expect appointment letter/other info in the mail?

Hello, my DS received an appointment to USAFA on 2/9 and accepted his decision to go there on that same day. In years past, or for anybody who has already received their acceptance letter in the mail for class of 25, when do you think USAFA will mail the appointment letter out to us?
 
Parent of a '24 here. I don't recall him ever getting a letter in the mail. There was info on the portal and a letter on the portal if I remember correctly. It was several days after the call from the MoC.
 
I thought I heard it from others in this forum or with other people. Please tell me if I'm wrong?
 
Letter comes with the blue folder. I wouldn’t expect it until end of March till middle of April. Until then, make sure he gets in better shape then he’s in now, keeps up good grades and stays out of any trouble while enjoying the rest of his senior year.
 
When it comes to timing and mail, it can really vary YOY, by candidates, and by SA.

If you really want the offer of appointment LETTER in hardcopy, ask your DS to download and email to you, splurge and use a color printer and put a high quality sheet of paper. If you are actually talking about the letter plus BFE appointment CERTIFICATE - the one you take pictures with - that could be anytime. 2024 DD's nom 12/13 phone call, 12/18 upload, appointment letter only in portal 12/24. BFE postmarked 01/23. In the meantime, I highly suggest getting a yard sign, make sure DS has a USAFA t-shirt/top, be ready to triathlon sprint your way to the dollar store for balloons (and recon some items on the packing list!), and then you are ready to take that announcement picture!
